The major focus of my current research is simulation of Additive Manufacture, welding simulations, FE modelling of void growth, crack propagation and fracture mechanics. I have over two decades of industrial and academic experience in FEM modelling, mainly in the structural and microstructural modelling, including linear, buckling, geometric nonlinear, elastic-plastic, frequency and dynamic analysis.
