He serves as the Vice Dean for Development and External Relations at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies with the Seat in Prešov. Previously, from 2014 to 2024, he held the position of Head of the Department of Computer-Aided Manufacturing Technologies at the same faculty, and in 2022, he was appointed Professor in the field of Manufacturing Technologies. Primary areas of research and expertise:
- Reverse engineering – Analysis and experimental activities, object digitization, computer processing of digitized data, applications in additive technologies and mixed reality.
- Computer-aided manufacturing technologies – PLM systems, computer-aided disassembly technologies, computer simulation of manufacturing processes and systems.
Secondary area of expertise:
- Technical diagnostics – SCADA systems, manufacturing process monitoring, measurement data processing, IoT applications.
He has extensive experience in scientific research projects and in supervising PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s theses throughout his academic career.
